Could Left Side Numbness With Other Symptoms Be Due To Multiple Sclerosis?

i have had many physical problems and just thought it was due to getting old (41) then i started checking on websites and realized there maybe only 1 problem-looked like MS, my father had and a sister has it. the so-called ms specialist says no due to no limp;reg. dr says fibro. but don t think so, all he takes is blood work & that comes out ok. dr thought i had a slight stroke when left side had gone numb;mri of head ok? that is all he has done. should i see another dr. reg dr asks why do u insist on having ms, u would have to take shots everyday and mri s and don t think ins. would pay ! what do u think?

MS attacks are either progressive or relapsing remitting. but u have only numbness on left side and no other symptoms and mri come to be negative. so at present there will be very rare possibility of ms. u have to go nerve conduction studies.
