Could Itchy Bruises On Legs Be Due To Allergic Reactions?

Hi - I had an allergic reaction about 2 weeks ago (to an artificial lemon scent in a bath product.) I had a rash on my legs where it came into contact. About a week later, the rash seemed to turn into itchy bruises instead. Now the bruises seem to be worsening. In this common when it comes to allergic reactions - or should I go to the ER? No symptoms anywhere else (no issues breathing, no bruises nor rash anywhere else on body.) Thanks!

Hello,
Thanks for using HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
Probably Your allergic patch has turned into dermatitic patch.
A local application of steroid cream like clobetasol should help you.
Hope , this suggestion will help you.If not improved within a weeks time you can go to ER and show it to a doctor.
Good luck.
