Could Intake Of Amplify Be The Cause Of Deranged Liver Levels?

hi I have had hep c for 10 years it was getting better almost gone..I have recently been but on Amplify and my liver levels are through the roof..BAD BAD!! My doctor was in awe I have mad a appointment to see my liver doctor for Monday could this be the amplify and should I stop taking it? I am also on clozapine sub oxen leness marolax and 90mg of Adderall. the Clozapine Adderall have all been started in the last 2 weeks could that have anything to do with my liver?

Hi welcome to HCM...

Clozapin can lead elevated liver enzymes ...
For which close watch up is necessary with monitoring of liver enzymes value ...
If needed this drug can be discontinued for sometime and after enzymes values goes down , treatment started again...

You are having hepatitis c infection ...since ten years ....
So hepatitis or cirrhosis has to be ruled out ...
Investigate with .....
1.PT
2.USG abdomen
3.Serum albumin
4.Liver biopsy only if needed
5.Bilirubin level

Meanwhile here take low fat diet ...
Fruits more ....

Spinach , green leafy veg , carrot will ne good for liver ...

According to report further management decided

Advise : Consult physician or gastroenterologist for examination whoever available nearby ...
