Could I Be Pregnant With A Negative Pregnancy Test Result?

On Feb. 3rd i started spotting, on feb.4 it was gone i started not to feel well and then my DH said to take a preganacy test, now ive taken HPTs in the past and ive never I mean NEVER seen A BFP , until on the 25th from the first morning pee i took a line test and it said of course BFN then he told me to take the digital one to make sure and guess what popped up A BFP!!! i was so nervous because this would be my first pregnancy . So i waited a day then took a nother line test and again that said BFN .. Im so confused !!! whats should i do?? Now todays Day 30 with out AF i had a spot of brown that was the size of a nickel yesterday but then it went away ??? Could i be pregnant ? did i get a false positive? help......

Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern.
In case you had expected period around 3rd... yes you could be pregnant & the bleeding was implantation bleeding.
Home pregnancy test give reliable reports after 8 days delay in periods. False + ve test could be due to contaminated urine( You had spotting on third.. & blood can contaminate urine to give false + ve) or contaminated collecting bottle.
Please use this information to take out inference of the testing.... In case you had tested before 8 days.. repeat it at proper time/ blood HCG testing would give a clear cut result to remove doubt.
