Hello, my question is what does it mean is your blood is brown right after having a child!? My periods are normal usually so I am thinking maybe it's just not back to what it was? But me and my Husband did have sex with out protection but he did pull out, could it mean I could be pregnant again ?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possible causes for bleeding are:
-After delivery bleeding can be seen for around 6 weeks.
This period can differ from person to person.
-Blood supply to the local genital organs will be more during pregnancy and puerperium.
That can lead to bleeding after intercourse etc.
-If you are not following any contraceptive measures, possibility of pregnancy is there . As sometimes preejaculate fluid can contain few spermatozoa.
So, consult gynecologist once and get examined.
Go for ultrasound.
By this workup the possibility of pregnancy can be ruled out. And also other possible causes for bleeding can be identified.
Then treatment can be planned accordingly.
After ruling out the possibility of pregnancy, better to go for some regular contraceptive methods.
Take care.
