Well, it could result on these symptoms, but only if you previously had, even mild,
gastritis or gastro-oesophageal reflux. After
vomiting and in inflammatory states that include the oesophagus and/or the stomach, there is a drop of pressure in the lower oesophageal sphincter (a "lock" that normally does not allow the acid content of the stomach to go "backwards" to oesophagus). I recommend you to have a trial with anti-
histamine H2 receptor drugs (
ranitidine 150 mg x 2 tb/d for a month) or with a protein pomp inhibitor drug (PPI:
omeprazole 20 mg x 2 tb/d for two weeks and x1 tb/d for two more weeks). Also, you should refrain from using certain food and beveragea: coffee, chocolate, alcohol, tobacco, spicy and grilled food, pickles. You should stand or sit up, not lie down, for at least 90 minutes after you have had your last meal.
