Hello welcome to HCM.
The normal blood pressure range is 120/80mmhg. Upto 139/85mmhg it's considered high normal.. And according to newer researches in old individual the range is 150/90mmhg. So my advice to you is-
1.usaully if she takes wine regularly then it has minimal direct effect on BP. Unless it causes mental relaxation and cause law blood pressure.
2.Go for 24 hrs blood pressure monitoring which will give you idea about whole day blood pressure and it's fluctuations.. And then you will get better idea.
3.at the age of 88, avoid agreessive mamanagement for hypertension.
Thank you..
