Could Giving Cerelac Be The Reason For Constipation In An Infant?

Hello Dr. My baby is suffering from constipation . She is 6 months and 2 weeks. This is her daily nutrition : morning bottle of milk 120 ml ..after 2 hours rice cerelac...after 3 or 4 hours apple and pear or banana...after 2 or 3 hour milk. I have stopped the banana to see if its from it but no as she is still constipated. Should I stop cerelac ? And if yes with what can I replace it ? Thank you

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
It appears that the baby is suffering with the habitual constipation, don't worry, it common with some kids.
You try cerelac wheat, fruits, egg or some other type. Any how have a visit to the pediatritian.
I usually prescribe milk of magnesia, a mild laxative, made for the children. If no response i advise to give it with warm water.
You can continue the banana and other fruits.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery .Thank you.
