Could Frequent Stomach Upsets Be Peptic Ulcer Disease?

I would like to know if a frequent upset stomach after you eat is a sign for a stomach ulcer. ? 2. Question. I am having a procedure done on my left leg due to vericose vains. I am a type 2 diabetic and I want to know by having this procedure will it cause me to later get blood clots? I also have Raynard? Poor blood circulation. Any thing cold causes my hands to turn purple.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of frequent stomach upset which seems to be either infection or inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract. It could be due to peptic ulcer disease. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with proton pump inhibitors and antacids such as Pantoprazole along with domperidone. You should take antispasmodics as well. Avoid intake of large foods and try to prefer small and frequent meals. You should take oral rehydration solution for maintaining the hydration and electrolyte balance of the body. You should consult gastroenterologist once and get complete blood investigations done. Start treatment after proper diagnosis. Take plain and soft food and avoid hot, sharp and spicy food substances.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
