Could Frequent, Painful Urination After Having Unprotected Sex Suggest STD?
I had unprotected sex just over 2 days ago and it was earlier today that I ve kept getting the urge to urinate. When I do urinate, there s less urine than I would usually release and it also slightly painful towards the end (when I finish urinating). Is there a possibility that this may be a symptom to a sexually transmitted disease or infection?

You have Painful urination with urge to pass urine after having unprotected sex .
There is every possibility of getting STD after having unprotected sex and has to be ruled out .
Get following basic tests done to rule out the same .
1) Urine routine and culture
2) Swab test of a discharge from urethra
3) basic blood test for STI .
In the mean while take Tab Erythromycin with Flavoxate twice daily along with urine alkaliser thrice daily .later on switch on to appropriate antibiotic as per culture report .

Hello,
Painful urination is more often a sign of urinary infection. STD presents first as presence of blisters around pelvic area. You should take Levofloxacin 250 mg (Levoflox) twice a day for five days along with antacid and painkiller as and when needed. Keep drinking a lot of fluids.
If you do not find relief in 5 days, then blood test for complete blood count, urine culture and vaginal swab examination is advised.
