Could Frequent Bowels Be Normal In An Infant Post Intake Of Enterogermina?

My 14 month old boy had a running stomach with reddish mucus, our Dr put him on ciprofloacin and enterigima for five days, this is the fourth day, his stool has hardened but he is still passing stool at least 3 times a day, please advise if this is the normal recovery mode

Hello dear,
Welcome to HCM. Thank you for your query. Don't worry stool gradually will become normal.But after antibiotic therapy and Enterogermina you should :
-continue probiotics for normal intestinal flora-Darolac 1 capsule 1-2 times for 1 month.
- If his stool will be not normal you can use enzymes during 14 days for quick cure. In addition keep your baby hydrated with plenty of water, ORS.
-Follow Pevzner's diet 4-rice,rice soup,boiled potato,dry bread,cookies.
-After recovery for boosting his immunity you can give multivitamins-Zincovit 5 ml 1 time for 1 month.
