Hi. I recently came off a 6 month course of paroxetine for mild depression with an anxiety component. ive never felt better. I weaned myself off with he Drs knowledge and experienced what I assume to be the withdrawal symptoms I would expect? nausea, real dizzy, fatigue. Throughout the course of being on this medication I also gained 14kgs despite running 5-10km everyday and eating as healthy as I know how. I have since joined the gym and go for approx. 1.5hours a day on a programme with negative results at my 6week check in. gaining 4-5cm on measurements, gaining 2kg more, fat% going up .5%, going down two fitness levels and to my surprise the highest blood pressure ive ever had of 148/91, im normally a constant 110/74. ??. Possibly inaccurate reading. but in the last week or so I have also had swelling in my feet that hasn't gone away with a heat like dermatitis rash appearing on my toes where the hairs are. and today whilst going for a run my hands swelled up. I am a 24 year old female, 173cm tall and approx. 89kg. I have never had sweeling of my hands and feet before. what are your thoughts? my Drs is closed during the holiday period .
