Could Difficulty In Getting Orgasm Be Due To Being On Premarin As Hormone Therapy?

Hi, I am 59 years of age and have been going through menopause for the last 6 years. I am on a hormone therapy medication, Premarin 1.25 right now. I have been taking this for a little over a year, before this medication I took Prempro. Never had any problems up till now in having an orgasm, I have a very high sex drive but can t get past a certain point and didn t have any problems until I started taking Premarin 1.25. Could this be the problem?

In my opinion a drug can not decrease the orgasm untill it is not affecting the sex drive. Still I will suggest you to go to your doctor and ask for either changing the drug or for stopping it for some time and see if you feel the same orgasm as before.
