Hallow Dear,

The time of the day for intercourse has no impact on fertilization.

If you had your intercourse about a week after your period, it does fall in your fertile window which is about a week around the day of ovulation. The day of ovulation is 14 days prior to the next expected menses.

Any cramps after the intercourse are not suggesting pregnancy.

If your menses are due after about a week or so, the earliest test you can perform for early diagnosis of pregnancy is Beta hCG test. This test can detect the pregnancy if performed 10 days after the last unprotected sexual intercourse.

Pregnancy tests on urine are reliable only a week after the missed period.

I hope this helps you in resolving the dilemma.
