Could Bupropion HCL SR 200 Mg Cause Acts Of Agression?

I have been taking bupropion HCL SR 200 mg twice daily for over a year. My question to you sir, could this medicine have contributed to my acts of aggression, that I could not control my emotions and I assulted my husband of 30 years? I am not an aggressive individual, and I found myself on the other side of the law for the 1 st time in my life. My age is 60 years old and to have this event happen, is beyond belief. So, it has been brought to my attention that perhaps this medication has contributed to my acts of aggressions.

well..... any psychoactive medicaiton can have effects on mentation. In theory it is quite possible with buprprion because this one acts on parts of the brain involed with impulse/addiction/etc. BUT the disorders it is used for (depression) are more likkley to cause aggression than the medication. and there are a wide variety of other mental and physical conditiosn taht can contribute including early alzheimers.
