Could Breathing In Of Toxic Plastic Fumes Be A Matter Of Concern?
I left a cardboard box and a plastic sauce container in my oven as it preheated to 400. I smelled something bad and went downstairs. When I opened the oven a bunch of smoke came out and I melted the top end of the plastic container and I may of inhaled some by accident due to my location and I couldn t run away once I noticed what it was. I then ran out and opened the windows and got a fan. Just a little pit of plastic melted, but it was enough.. Is it ok that I breathed some in? I feel slightly light headed....
HI Well come to HCM Little amount of noxious gases when inhaled that is being produce by burning of plastic and this could be 'carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, so this may not cause any harm, and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
