Could Bloating, Nausea, Dizziness And Vomiting Be Caused By Breastfeeding?
I'm 31, breastfeeding my one year old.the last 3 weeks I've been feeling dreadful...like I'm pregnant ( I'm not) nausea to the point of almost vomitting, bloating, dizzy, mild stomach cramp and lower back ache. Also spotted during my periods which has never happened ( brown discharge)
Hi, Thanks for consulting us. No, we can't take these symptoms to be caused by breast feeding. You MUST rule out pregnancy, if you are sexually active by doing a formal pregnancy test. Other causes of these symptoms could be Gastrointestinal upset or breakthrough bleeding due to anovulation. If you are on any hormonal birth control, this may well have caused this. See a physician if your hPT is negative. Take care.
