Could Back Pain Be Related To Umbilical Hernia And Divarication Of Recti?

I have been diagnosed with umbilical hernia and divarification of the recti. I have pain in the hernia area with bulges above my belly button at intervals. I can t carry my kids as I feel pain when I do. Not sure if related but I m also developing lower back pain and recently felt like I couldn t breathe properly. Like my chest was tight or something. Please help adviser what to do

Hi welcome to HCM.

Back pain can be related to divarication of recti as well as due to umbilical hernia.I strongly advise you to get a MRI scan to rule out disc pathology.consultation with a neurosurgeon will help.revise the umbilical hernia as well.
