Could Anxiety Cause Slight Numbness In Left Cheek And Arms?
I have a slight numbness in my left cheek and numbness in left arm and right arm. I worry alot and tend to overthink things and a tight chest due to my bronchitis that i had bout a week ago. I never had anxiety but im starting to think its because of anxiety.
Hello thanks for asking from Health Care Magic for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. You have numbness in cheeks and arms. The numbness can occur due to anxiety also. You have mentioned that you tend to overthink and have tightness in chest and have anxiety also. So anxiety can be the cause of your symptoms provided other causes has been ruled out. Other possible reason is some neuritis but in neuritis pain is main presenting symptom. Low vitamin B12 levels, iron deficiency anaemia, hypothyroidism are other possible medical causes of these symptoms. So get your B12, haemoglobin and thyroid hormone levels checked to rule out these conditions. If everything comes normal then visit a psychiatrist for help.
Thanks, I hope this helps you. Take care
