Could A Clear Vaginal Discharge With Spots And Cramping Be A Pregnancy?
Having clear vaginal discharge with spots of brown and pink, as well as cramping. I've been on the pill for 9 months and have taken it on time everyday as instructed aside from a missed pill last month. Could I be pregnant? What other possible causes could there be for these symptoms?
Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
1 ) First of all do not panic.
2 ) I will suggest you to consume your birth control pills regularly. Please take the missing pill as early as possible, and as soon as you remember.
3 ) You can finish off the pills and wait for the onset of your periods.
4 ) If you do not get your periods, as expected, then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test will be of help.
5 ) If your pregnancy test is negative, then your symptoms can be due to cervical erosion or cervical polyp. This can be confirmed by a gynec check up including per speculum and per vaginal examination.
I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar.
