i am perscribed .50 mg xanax as needed at night for anxiety. I don't take it every night. Maybe a couple times a week, then maybe a few weeks taking nothing. I am also on 70mg Vyvanse. Could the xanax cause irregular periods? Two periods ago it came a week early.
Hello You are taking irregularly XANAX for anxiety ( alprazolam 0.5 mg ). There are so many side effects of xanax as nausea , vomiting psychological & physical dependence ( beside so many others ) but it don't causes menstrual irregularity , so in your case for irregular bleeding , xanax is not responsible. You are also taking Vyvanse 70 mg ( lisedexamfetamine dimesylate ) but this also not responsible for bleeding disorder. So in my opinion irregular bleeding may be due to , these reasons, these include: 1 Tension or anxiety 2 Hormonal imbalance 3 Uterine disorder Get in an ultrasound of uterine organs ( including ovaries ) to rule out any gynecological reason. Deal as above mentioned. Good luck.
