Could Duphaston Cause Any Effect On Baby If Pregnant?

i am 31yrs old . my last perid was on 27th april , til 15th june i dint hav my next period. so done a upt test but negative. now doctor gave me duphaston 10mg tablet for 5 days. is it safe to have it . if am at initial stage of pregnency,whether it will cause any effect over my baby.
