Could CAT Scan During Early Pregnancy Days Harm Baby?
Hello- I was in the hospital 2 wks ago for kidney stones. I first had a urine test, when that came up negative, they did a cat scan and found them. My issue is that they did a pregnancy test at the time and it was negative, but I just took one today and it was positive. I possibly would have been 1-3 days pregnant at the time of the cat scan. Can this harm my fetus?

CAT scan involves x rays, so even if you have slightest doubt of having pregnancy ; it carries risk of radiation.
In my opinion organ formation is between 14 to 42 days of conception, exposure to radiation in this period carries risk to fetus.
