high eosinophils sho it is allergy and you are suffering from allergy involving your chest
you can use anti allergic tab cough syp bronchodilator syp to control it but for cure you need to know the cause of allergy as it can be found by doing tests and treated with oral immunotherapy for permanently as i have treated a large number of patients like this

Allergist and Immunologist Dr. Sujoy Khan's  Response
Hello,
Your blood tests (eosinophilia) and symptoms of cough, wheeze suggests you have allergic asthma and the granule type material is eosinophilic derived.

Hence, you need to see an Allergist to figure out what allergies you have, most common ones are aeroallergens such as house dust mite and cockroach. This would be very important to keep under control when you visit Canada, as it is cold and the heating inside the house worsens these allergies.
Also you need to see a Chest Physician after lung function tests to optimise your asthma medications.

I am sure you then will be fine with the trip.

I hope this answer was useful.
Best Wishes.
