Cough, Bouts Of Cough. Is The Coughing Severe Problem?

My 2 year old son has had two cold within a span of two months. We live in bangalore India. He coughs a lot especially at night and morning after waking up. Some days he does not have much cough, some nights it s so bad that he wakes up from sleep due to bouts of cough and throws up. Should I be worried about him having primary complex? Please help.

Is there any history of fever.
Is he loosing weight?
does any body in the neighborhood have pulmonary tuberculosis?

Is there any family history of bronchial asthma or allergy?
Does you kid have any other allergies?
does he have any such episodes in the past?

It could also be cough variant of bronchial asthma. (if he does not have wheeze)
