Continuous Fever, Vomiting Sensation, Urine Culture Showed Protein Trace, Few Granular Cast, Has Low Appetite. What Is The Cause?

the urine culture of 3years and 9month girl child have shown the following parameters 1. trace protein 2.acidic 3.few granular cast 4. specific gravity -1030 she is very reactant about food and during food taking, after taking few amount food the vomiting tendency is observed she has been suffering from fever for 5 days and after having taken antibiotic she has come round from fever i,her father. seeking your advice.

The report you mentioned was a complete urine examination and not a urine culture report.

Happy to hear that her fever subsided after 5 days with the use of antibiotic.

Children around this age group they try to resist food.

If you try to give with force, they ususally refuse to take or they vomit.

These are developmental issues, and will resolve as the age increases.

Don't force to feed.

But use the following to feed her:

1. Two spoon method- one to child and another to mother

2. Encourage her to feed self

3. Taking her feeds along with the family members at dining.
