Continuous Chest Pain, Occasional Armpit Pain. Normal ECG, Blood Work, Advised Stress Test. Family History Of Heart Disease. Suggestion?
I was in the er 3 days ago for chest pain and shortness of breath and after a normal ecg and no troponin in bloodwork I was sent home and was told to have a stress test done. I have a large family history of heart disease and the pain is not getting better. My left armpit occasionally hurts as well. Should I return to the er?
HI
from your history its not look like cardiac pain more so when your ECG and blood troponin normal
consult your family physician , i think you required pain killer for few days and do stress test in near future
avoid any type of work using your left hand ,give rest to left hand
get well soon , take care
