Consumed Toilet Cleaning Acid. Vomitted, Given Pain Killer Injections. Endoscopy Shows Rashes In Intestine. Treatment?

I would like to know what treatment to be done for a person who consumes 2 spoons of toilet acid.
as a first remedy salt water was give to vomit this was almost immediate and with in 1hr, and there were some black stains that that showed up which may or may not be acid, her pulse, bp are all showing good, saline was given for energy. an injection was to reduce heat in the throat, pain killer injection to reduce pain and guess some anti poison tablets, and they recommended to go to ent specialist, ent specialist confirmed there are some burns happened in the throat and gave some medicines and recommended for endoscopy scan for any acid problems in stomach, endoscopy was done and result came as there are some rashes in the intestine and was asked to be admitted to the hospital. could you please advice as to what the condition is and what are recommeneded test and treatment to be done

Hello,

Ingestion of acids creates burn injuries in the pathway.

The main complications are esophagitis, ulcerations, rupture and internal bleeding.

Sometimes it may be life threatening.

Late complication is obstruction due to Stricture formation.

She needs inpatient care.
