Constipation, White Clumps In Stool, Black Stools. Taking Suboxone. Treatment?

I take suboxone and am usually constipated from it. Whenever i do take a fatty dump there is white clumps that come out along with the fatty log. I was just wondering what this was. Is it bad? I m paranoid about it. Not only is it scary to pass a duece resembling a black Nerf football, but the white stuff is alarming as well. Thanks

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

White stuff with black stools is not normal and suggest epithelial shedding along with GI bleed.

Maybe part of the side effect profile of suboxone affecting GI flora or else, in any situation, further intake of suboxone is not recommended and immediate consultation with your doc is mandatory from this point onward.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
