Constipation, Blood In Stools, Hemorrhoids, Lump In Abdomen, Cyst Formation. Cure?

so I m a 27 y/o male. recently had some constipation , and then had blood in my stool twice. Pretty sure its a hemorrhoid because both times I got frustrated and tried to force it. since then no blood in stool . Whats got me curious is I have this small, pea-sized lump in my upper left abdomen(as I look down). Its small, smooth, rubbery. it does not hurt but it does seem to move. when I lady down it moves to slightly above my ribcage. is it possibly a cyst that is just deep under the skin?

Hello Good Evening,

This is serious illness as per your description, although hemorrhoids can cause heavy and chronic bleeding but any other bleeding source also can be found.

So you have to go to a surgeon for hemorrhoids diagnosis by Per Rectal and Proctoscopy examination to stop the further loss of any bleeding, moreover should be gone over a diagnostic Colonoscopy to search a any other active source of bleeding.

This chronic and heavy bleeding can cause severe anemia, which itself can cause severe weakness and many other serious symptoms.
Constipation can cause flare up of your hemorrhoids, so you should use some laxatives.

So please do not take it lightly, go for proper evaluation and treatment (Blood transfusion may be needed) and surgery may be needed.

For your lump in abdomen, you should go through proper physical examination by GP, then only he will decide the diagnosis, and further management will depend on it.

Regards,

Dr. Naresh Jain
