Constant Burning In Urethra After Recovering From UTI. Is It A Stone In Urethra ?

I had UTI on September it took me one month to get over that, after that I have constant burning in urethra I had urine test it is no infection but it was blood in it which I couldn't see with my eyes. I cannot wear tight pants it starts to burn. Also I have cyst in one of my ovary I am not sure if it is related or not. I have doctor appointment on December 2nd the bad thing is it took me a while to go to a doctor and it is going to be worse because the doctors could not give me sooner appointment. I keep reading the internet about my problem and I am getting worried about it, is it possible that a stone is in my urethra? or cyst or is something strange?

Dear Friend
You might be having UTI persisting, or it is also possible that you never had an UTI , if it was diagnosed just on the basis of urinary burning.
But if you had infection in urine test with fever , it might be an UTI.

Since you are having persisting burning, you require an evaluation by imaging to check for ureteric stones, which might have precipitated your UTI previously.
If you still have fever you should get a urine culture done.

Drink plenty of fluids , and i prefer to give my patients an urine alkaliser like Syp Alkasol. You may discuss with your doctor to prescribe it.

Wish you a speedy recovery.
