You can try to attempt to control your symptoms through diet. Here are a few recommendations, Ensure that you - eat regular meals, do not skip meals or eat late at night, take your time when eating meals, sit down to eat and chew your food well, regular exercise, make time to relax.
To control bloating
, try reducing your intake of resistant starches (they tend to ferment and produce gas) like pulses, whole grains, sweetcorn, undercooked potato, reheated breads, chips, crisps, ready meals like pasta etc. Oats and golden linseeds may also help with symptoms of wind and bloating.
Keep a food and symptom diary to see if diet affects your symptoms. And give your bowels time to adjust to any changes that you make.
