Consistent Chest Pain, Swelling At The Sternum, Feeling Of Obstruction In Throat, Lump At The Back Of Neck.Any Suggestions?

hi, i have had chest/ heart pains for a couple of months now and the doctor has said it is swelling where the sterum is. it is still there but not really worse. but now i have the feeling right at the bottom of my throat almost as if something is stuck in there. and i have a small lump on the back of my neck under the skin about the size of a pea. any suggestions? thanks.

Thanks for writing to HCM

You didn't mentioned your age.
You need proper clinical assessment and investigations.
You need routine hemogram,RBS,RFT,Lipid profile,LFT,Chest X-ray(PA view),Ultrasound of abdomen,ECG in all leads, Upper GI endoscopy,TMT and ECHO.
Swelling at the site of sternum and neck region needs evaluation.
CT Scan may be done if needed.
Also you need ENT consultation for feeling of stickiness in throat.
Treatment depends upon clinical findings and investigation reports.
