Colonoscopy Scheduled. Diarrhea After Taking Laxative. Need To Get Tested?

I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy at 8am this morning, I took lax last night at 7 pm as prescribed, woke up this morning I was supposed to have movement within couple of hour after lax, but only this morning did I have any movement , is that normal 12 hours after lax, came out dirreria but brown not clear. Am I still having procedure

hi, laxatives are given one day before the procedure like colonoscopy for clearing off the bowel from feces and gas, which will interfere with the visibility and ultimately the report. if bowel is not cleared properly, gastroenterologist will decide about to go for the procedure/ or to postpone to next day. see your doctor. all the very best.
