Cold Sweats, Vomiting. Recurring Often. Why The Symptoms Not Clearing?

My son is 21 and has been feeling ill since saturday. He has hot and cold sweats and is vommiting constantly. He has been drinking loads of water to flush his system but is still experiencing these symtoms, hence me being awake now. He has started to feel better, but then it comes back and starts all over again. Although i feel it is probably some bug i am concerned that the symtoms are not clearing. Any ideas?

Hello and thanks for writing in at HCM
It seems that your son is suffering from Gastroenteritis or Gastritis may be due to food poisoning. Needs to be rule out GERD. To get rid from it consult your doctor and take i.v. antiementic drug and than orally to avoid recurrent vomiting. Along with this take a course of antibiotic.
Keep your son hydrated, give only boiled or RO filtered water with electrolyte powder.
Give only fresh food or juice (semiliquid or liquid which is easy to digest)
Give Paracetamol if fever occur.
If vomiting does't stop than admit him in hospital so that IV fluid be given to over come dehydration. Also IV antibiotic has more effect than oral.
