Cold, Nausea, Feeling Week, And Longer Duration Of Menstrual Cycle. What Is The Reason?
Hello I feel as if I have a common cold (stuffy/runny nose) but my menstrual lasted about 8 days which is about 3 days longer then average for me, also after about a day after it seemed that my menstrual wad over with I bleed out of the blue late that night. I have some nausea and feel a bit weak, what could this be? By the way I never drink enough water.
There are different factors that can impact on menstruation. Physical or emotional health are one of these factors.
The fact that you are currently fighting a viral illness may have affected your menstruation.
You can observe at this point. If your next cycle is also irregular for you then you can consult your doctor.
The other factors (other that emotional or physical well being) that can affect menstruation are (1) fibroids (2) endometriosis (3) side effect of medication (4) polyps (5)ovarian dysfunction
Blood tests and imaging may be required.
I hope this helps
