Cold, Leg Pains, Strain, Head Ache, High Levels Of Cholesterol LDL, HDL As Well As Tri-Glycerides. By-pass Surgery Done. Any Advise?

Hello Doctor, My father is heart patient. he had undergone By-pass surgery in Nov'2005. Since then he is on medication. Surgery had been done after second time of arrest. Then the doctors said that was a major surgery and took nearly 10 Hrs time. Since then, he hasn't given any complaints of pain or others. But, Occasionally he complains of Cold, Leg pains, Strain, Head Ache etc. He has crossed 50 and may be around 51. Dont know the exact age. What i heard from my friends is that After first By-pass, the patient has to undergo by-pass every year. If that is the case this would be his 8th year of operation and would you recommend him to undergo or not. He has been regularly consulting the doctor who had operated on him and he doesn't recommend that. He has very high levels of cholesterol LDL, HDL as well as Tri-Glycerides. II'm afraid that these levels would be dangerous for anyone and more in already a patient. Please recommend the foods he should take and any other you would suggest. Thanks in advance.
