Clot In The Brain. Underwent Paralytic Attack. Is It Curable? Consequences?

my grand father met with an accident n that has caused a clot in the brain . he also underwent a paralytic attack the next morning and his left body is somewhat under the effect. he has underwent a surgery today . he s 80+ what are the consequences? is paralysis cureable at such age?

Hi, welcome to HCM.
Clot due trauma can be resolved. It depends on size and location of clot. Also what amount of clot has been removed in operation. If extradural or subdural haematoma is aspirated then recovery will be fast. Otherwise It will take time to resolve at least 6 to 8 month.
Important treatment in such patients is physiotherapy. It will improve the power of lower limb.
