Clitoris Is Swollen And Hard, Have Herpes. Is It Related? Use Lubricant?

The left side of my clitoris is swollen and hard. This occurs usually during/after very rough sexual intercourse. It usually goes away after a couple hours or a day. i have herpes but i do not think this is in any relation to herpes. I have been told it may have something to do with a clog where natural lubricants are. What do you think?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In my view it is not herpes as herpes don’t keep coming and going in hours, it stays for days so it is surely related to rough sex. You can use some lubricant next time and see results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rahul Kumar
