Clear White Spot Near Maculate. Family History Of Degenerative Disease In Eyes. Matter Of Concern?

My 13 year old daughter had a sort of eye x ray yesteray during her eye exam and a clear white spot shows up near the maculate (in french maculaire) should I be worried? Optometrist will take another x ray in 6 months. I am concerned about the degenerative disease in the eyes as it seems to run in my husband family.

1.The fact that you are aware the macular degeneration is common in your husbands family if your husband's vision is still good, you needn't worry.
2. If it's not encroaching the center of the maculae, you need to have her checked every year to rule no involvement of the center.
