Cleaned Penis With Savlon, Burning Sensation In Urethra. Washed Penis With Water. Side Effects?

i just put savlon on cotton and cleaned my penis with it . after 2 minutes i searched if its safe. and got to know that they say that dettol is too strong to use over genitals because it burns urethra . immediately i went to bathroom and washed my penis with water. i hope i won t suffer any problem. please advise me if i need to be careful about some things . thanx

hello sir,
Yes,Dettol might be strong solvent over exposed mucosa unless it is adequately diluted.
Savlon on the other hand is supposed to be less irritant.But precautions need to be taken while using both.Its always advisable to use any topically applied substances after applying a test dose over the back of arm or axilla or back or any other hidden areas to check for reactions.
In your case since you thoroughly washed it off,the effects may be minimal/none.However in case u find a problem pls do consult your physician
