Chronic Pancreatitis, Pancreas Beta Cells Not Working Properly, Taking Mixterd, Insulin. How Can I Wean Insulin?

sir i am chronic pancreatitis patient. reason is that a stone was situated in my pencreatic duct. in june 2011 i have take treatment ercp & eswl in Asian institute of technology, Hyderabad. but right now my pancreas beta cells not proper working so i am continue taking mixterd 30/70 insulin tuice a day. sir i want to know can i leave insulin with any type of treatment of pencreas, suggest me.

Hi..vsf.., There is no other option, than Insulin, you need to take for life time..
since pancreas is completely damaged , insulin supplementation will be the only treatment...
