It worries me to see that you are very anxious regarding your child's hypothermia
. I am just one more doctor adding to your list saying that your child is normal because all serious causes of hypothermia like infections are sudden events and won't last longer. Hormonal
causes have already been ruled out in your child. some suggestions which might help you,
1. Was the temperature measured correctly ?- temperature should be taken for complete 3minutes, if axillary temperature has been taken then add one degree to the value, check for thermometer malfunction.
2.If your region is very cold
, then use adequate warm clothings.
3. Since many doctors have suggested that there is no cause for concern and child is asymptomatic, be tension free. Everything is going well. Take care.
