Hi

Usually in a child with fever, cough and a head ache too, SINUSITIS has to be ruled out.

Sinuses are air filled sacs that lie around the nose within our skull.
When the para nasal sinuses are infected and filled with secretions, they can cause a bad head ache. It can be confirmed by X ray of the Para nasal sinuses. Since its the 2nd week of the illness, surely she will need antibiotics- in such a case one like Co-Amoxy Clav will be better. Along with this she will need Calpol every 6 hours for pain, a decongestant and antihistamine too!
Give her steam inhalation every 6 hrs at home- it will give relief.

How ever with severe head ache and vomiting, one should rule out problems like meningitis by a proper examination.
So please visit your doctor again and get your doubts clarified.

Hope my answer helps you.
Wish a speedy recovery for your kid.
