Child With A Bite Mark On The Arm. Brownish Spot Near The Bump. What Is Wrong?

My 3-year-old son had some sort of bite on this arm and he got a big bump from the bite for 4 days. Now the bump went away but now he has a big brown spot near by where he had the bump and he also has smaller brown spots on his other arm. I took him to the doctor but he didnt know what was wrong with him. Please help me?

Hi,

You are suggesting that the bumps are increasing in number and also spreading to other arm.

Normally if the bump has given rise to bruising then the bruising disappears gradually with change in the color as it disappears.Maybe the color you are talking about is post bruising marks.

However it will be difficult to comment without having closely examined the lesion.

Regards
Take care.
