Hi Sandy,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic,
As your child is having frequency of urine, recurrent fevers, better to investigate him with complete urine examination to look for any urinary tract infection and other basic blood investigations to rule out other infections.
So consult your Pediatrician for furhter evaluation and treatment.
Hope i have answered your query.
Hello
Increased urinary frequency with fever may be due to urinary tract infection. It is always not necessary to have pain in UTI.
It may also be due to some uncommon causes like diabetes melitus or some renal disorder.
So I would suggest you to consult your pediatrician to get a urine examination done for a proper diagnosis.
Regards
Hi
Thanks for your query
As your son is having increased frequency of urination with fever off and on so he needs to be examined by a pediatrician for urinary tract infection, urine routine and urine culture should be done.
Absence of pain does not rule out infection.
Give him plenty of fluids during daytime with restriction of fluids after evening.
