Child Takes Lactogen, Pooping For 4 Times. Heavy Diaper Rash. Stool Test Shoes Puss Cells, Acidic. Treatment?
Hi , my 13 month old is taking lactogen stage 2 for the past 2 months, no issues. But since the last 2 weeks , he has been pooping 4 times a day. Hes getting a heavy diaper rash everytime he poops. i gt a stool test done & the result is showing puss cells ( 0-3 hpf) & acidic. What is the likely cause & treatment ?

This could be because of gastroenteritis. Maintain proper rehydration by giving ORS. Zinc syrup as advised by your doctor will help. If the loose stool persist then lactose intolerance may be considered. Probiotics will help.
