Dear Sir, my son who is 8 years old now was suffering from hearing loss since birth but detected only 2 year back because his BERA test when taken in his 2year of age showed normal since he has middle ear wax he was only treated for that, but later he was suggested for speech theraphy now he was tried pure tone audiomtry test the test shows there is earing loss and recommened hearing aid we have tried hearing aid he is good now sir how come a child whose BERA test is good but problem in hearing is there any other factor affecting him your recommedations please sir, now he speaks like 3 year child.
