HI mansiisethi83.

THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTION.

BROCHIOLOTIS IS A VIRAL INFECTION CAUSED BY RESPIRATORY SYNCITIAL VIRUS AND ITS ATTACK PRONE A PERSON TO RECURRENT RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTION AND BRONCHIAL ASTHMA.YOU SON ALSO DEVELOP BRONCHIAL ASTHMA SO CONTINUE THE NEBULISATION AND KEEP YOUR CHILD PROTECTED FROM COLD,BREAST FEED PROPERLY AND WHENEVER HE SHOW SIGN OF RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTION LIKE-FEVER,INCREASE COUGH,RESPIRATORY DISTRESS IMMEDIATELY GO TO YOUR DOCTOR HE WILL GIVE PROPER ANTIBIOTICS.ATLEAST TAKE THE NEBULISATION FOR NEXT 6MONTHS-1 YEAR AS THIS AGE PROGNOSIS OF ASTHMA IS GOOD.
ABOUT HIS WT HE HAS SLIGHTLY LOW BODY WT.HIS BODY SHOULD BE AROUND 10-11 KG AND I THINK PROPER NUTRITION IF YOU GIVE HE CAN CATCH UP THE WT AND THIS REDUCED BODY WT ARE DUE TO RECURRENT INFECTION.VISIT YOUR DOCTORS AND ASK FOR PROPER DIET CHAT THAT WILL HELP HIM A LOT.

BEST WISHES,
DR SOURAV GANGULY
