Child Suffering From High Fever. Temperature Down After Crocin Drops. Correct Dosage And Its Interval?
Today morning my son(11months old) is suffering from 102.4 fever .i had given him the crocin drops of 1 ml . Now the temperature go down to 98.6 I.e after 5 hrs.shall I continue the Cronin drops after 8 hrs with same dosage. What I mean to say is that what is the correct dosage and hours gap that would be given to my kid ?please help me.thanks in advance..

Your child is having fever,i advise you to monitor fever 6 hourly.
In case fever is above 100F,give acetaminophen as per dosage (15mg/kg ).
Give plenty of fluids so as to maintain hydration.
In case fever persist get him evaluated by pediatrician.

Cronin is paracetamol and can be given every 4-6 hrs if needed, with no more than 4 doses in a 24 hr period. The dose is based on your son's weight. Paracetamol is given at 10 mg to 15 mg per each kg of his weight so that if he weighs 10 kg, he would be given 100 mg to 150 mg at each dose.
